This Privacy Policy explains how Putnam Enterprises LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use PresenceScanner at presencescanner.ai (the "Service"). We keep this simple and honest.
When you use PresenceScanner, we may collect:
Business information you enter: the business name, phone number, city, and website you type in to run a scan. This is used to find and analyze the business you asked about.
Your email address, only if you choose to give it: for example, if you ask us to send you a report or sign up to hear from us. We do not require an email to run a free scan.
Basic technical information: like your general location, browser type, and IP address, which we use to operate the Service, prevent abuse, and apply usage limits.
Basic usage analytics: we use tools such as Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used so we can improve it.
We use the information to run scans and produce reports, operate and improve the Service, prevent abuse and enforce usage limits, and, if you gave us your email and agreed, to send you reports or occasional updates. You can opt out of emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your scan results or email with other users. We do not send you spam, and we only email you if you asked us to or agreed to hear from us.
To run the Service, we rely on trusted third-party providers, including Google (for business and maps data and analytics), our email provider, our hosting provider, and an AI provider that helps generate the report text. These providers process information on our behalf according to their own privacy practices. PresenceScanner may also show recommendations or affiliate links to third-party products; if you click them and visit those sites, those sites have their own privacy policies.
We keep information only as long as needed to operate the Service and for our legitimate business purposes. If you gave us your email and want it removed, contact us and we will delete it.
You can use the free scan without giving an email. If you did give us your email, you can unsubscribe at any time or ask us to delete it by emailing us. You can also control cookies and analytics through your browser settings.
The Service is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above.
