Three specific things there, and each one costs her money. Turning down a chemical service is turning down the booking. Not using heat lamps makes every color appointment longer. Not double-booking means fewer clients in a day.

Where is the studio?
Port Charlotte. It is an independent private studio rather than a salon floor, and clients travel in from Punta Gorda, Deep Creek, Lake Suzy, North Port, Englewood, Rotonda, Venice and Nokomis.
What does one client at a time actually mean?
No double-booking. Your appointment is not shared with someone else's color processing, so the whole session is yours. Most salons run two or three chairs at once.
Why does she refuse some services?
Because some hair will not survive the chemical process being asked of it. In her own words, she will turn down a chemical service before compromising the structural health of the hair. That is an unusual thing for a colorist to say out loud and it is the reason to book her.
What is wrong with heat lamps?
They speed up color and bleach processing, which is convenient for the salon and harder on the hair. She does not use them. It makes appointments longer and the result more predictable.
What is she known for specifically?
